The Story
I never realized how much I love grilling until moving to the lake...not so much the actual task but all the vibes and subtleties grilling brings with it. For me when I think of grilling I immediately think of being outside, under the trees, my bare feet in the grass. I smile thinking about the quality time, conversation and connection that seems to organically happen as the food cooks. The collaboration that comes from others pitching in to bring those iconic side dishes. And let’s not forget the summer weather that has us flying high and looking to chill in the nearest pool or lake.
 
This Switch is all about the vibes where I used the print and colors of the fabrics to bring in the things I think of most when I think of grillin' + chillin'. For me the blue says chill in the water. The red brings me back to the old school picnic table cloth. The yellow checker has me drooling for corn on the cob. When I look at the greens I can hear the calming sounds of the oak leaves rustling in the wind and feel the grass between my toes.
